DeMarko began his collegiate career at Kennedy King College where he served as Team Captain for two seasons. During his junior college career, DeMarko assisted the Statesmen in becoming the Region IV NJCAA Runner-Ups in 2012. DeMarko was also recognized as All-Region, All-Tournament and as an All-American Honorable Mention as a sophomore.

 

DeMarko earned a full scholarship to the University of Texas-Pan American (now the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley) and played for one season before transferring to Robert Morris University-Illinois in 2013. As a Team Captain for the Eagles, Marko led RMU to a CCAC Title and the NAIA D-II National Tournament where they finished in the semi-final round.

 

Following his playing career, DeMarko spent three seasons as an Assistant Coach for the RMU Men’s Basketball Team.
